Slip and fall · Midtown Manhattan
Slip and fall pain doctor in Midtown Manhattan
Slipping on ice or a wet floor, or falling on a sidewalk or stairs, can hurt the back, hip, knee, ankle, wrist or shoulder. We see patients at our Midtown Manhattan office, 150 E 55th St, Suite 401, New York, NY 10022.
When a fall leaves lasting pain
Some falls heal in a few days; others leave back, hip or knee pain that keeps returning. The Spine & Pain Center looks for the source with an exam, an imaging review and, when needed, diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound. Treatments listed here include joint injections, genicular nerve blocks for the knee and epidural steroid injections, offered only when the evaluation supports them.
Your care in Midtown Manhattan
In Midtown, Yuri Gordin, MD, evaluates back, hip or knee pain after a fall and talks with you about pain treatment options. Physical therapy is offered in Brooklyn and Staten Island.
Everyone is different. Treatment options and results vary from person to person.
Coming from uptown or across Manhattan
Many of our Midtown patients come from Spanish Harlem (East Harlem) and Washington Heights. From East Harlem, the 6 train or the M101, M102 or M103 bus runs straight down to the office. From Washington Heights, take the A or C and change to the E, or ride the M101. We also see patients from Midtown, Midtown East, Turtle Bay and UN Plaza, the Upper East Side, the Upper West Side, Harlem and the Financial District.
