Slip and fall injury doctor in Brooklyn
Slipping on ice or a wet floor, or falling on a sidewalk or stairs, can hurt the back, hip, knee, ankle, wrist or shoulder. We see patients at our Brooklyn office, 2781 Shell Rd, Suite 101, Brooklyn, NY 11223.
Injuries we commonly treat
- Low back and neck pain
- Hip injuries
- Knee and ankle sprains
- Wrist and hand injuries from landing on an outstretched hand
- Shoulder injuries
Your care in Brooklyn
Falls often hurt the wrist or hand. In Brooklyn, Valerie Khodorkovskiy, OTR/L, works with arm and hand injuries, and our physical therapists treat knee, ankle, hip and back injuries.
Everyone is different. Treatment options and results vary from person to person.
Icy sidewalks, stairs and wet floors
A fall onto an outstretched hand can sprain or strain the wrist; landing on a hip or knee can leave you limping for weeks. In Brooklyn, hand and wrist recovery happens with our occupational therapist, while Zoya Reznik, DPT, OCS, and Maggie (Yi) Zhang, DPT, work on walking, balance and strength. Ashley Marcus, MD, or Julia Kogan, FNP, sees you first and decides whether imaging is needed.
